Summer is coming! We've put down a few helpful tips for you so that your organization's vacationers can enjoy their vacations and all those at home can continue to work nicely during an often quieter time.
Automate your follow-up in absence mode
Get follow-up emails, reminders and notifications sent automatically. Tools such as Salesforce Flow or Odoo Studio make it possible.
For example, use automatic task and lead conversion when someone is on vacation. Automatic rerouting of leads based on availability of colleagues who are not on vacation prevents downtime in processes.
Additional tip:
Set up workflows that automatically follow up on leads after a download or quote request.
Transfer via dashboards
In your absence, make sure your team knows exactly what’s going on via clear dashboards. No explanations needed, everything at a glance. That way you can relax on the beach without being disturbed.
As a developing partner of SynRecord, our musQueteers obviously know this platform inside and out. Are you interested but don’t know where to start? We are happy to advise and help you!
Give your workflows a check-up before you leave
A vacation doesn’t really begin until you’re sure your automations are still correct.
✅ Check if:
- Lead statuses are updated properly
- Start sales triggers automatically
- Email templates are up-to-date
Use the quiet summer for data migrations
Not going on vacation this summer during the holiday season? Then now is the time for your data migration! Data migrations are like moving house: choose the right moment. Not in a hurry, not when the boxes are in the way and both the old and new house are still under construction. The lee of a vacation period is often ideal for a data migration.
Additional tip:
Use the summer for minor updates, test migrations, clean-ups and mapping checks as well, if necessary.
Use summer for knowledge sharing
July and August are ideal for giving team members who are not on vacation short training sessions on new features or improved processes in your IT and CRM tools. Knowledge ensures that the system continues to work without you.
Make your CRM 'work the way you think'
Is your CRM set up so well that it feels like you’re doing it yourself, even when you’re in Italy? If so: mission accomplished. If not? Time for a chat with musQueteer.
